Been wanting to blog something for quite awhile.

But been really really busy with work.

Everyday is like fighting at war........

Everyday is so tiring. *YAWNS

Social grace.

Yes. Why this topic? 'Cos I've met many whom goes without this virtue during my working hours.

And YES, they are super annoying. I'm serious.

According to Wiktionary, Social grace is defined as

"The ability to fit into polite society and behave properly and with etiquette."

Wells. People nowadays are having some cultural problem to attain that.

People get so rude not saying " thank you ", " please "etc.. What's the point going through primary education even when you don't sustain the basic knowledge to say such courteous labels. They've wasted their time, money, resources.....

All these are so important.

Don't tell me those crap that sick patients are grouchy. It don't work that way.

They demand things to be done stat upon their request.

Had too many stories at work regarding such low class people whom thinks that they have some filthy money to afford in staying in paying class....

They cause me breathless. I'm allergic to such people.

They irks me. And believe me, I can be attitude to them in a not offensive manner.

Screw them.

And screw those doctors whom are irritating for causing miscommunications.

Argh!

Yay. On AL. Some rest over the end of the week/month of Jan.

Nothing beats rotting at home, waiting for Bb to finish work, surfing the net, cleaning up my room, blogging etc.....

Been sleeping a lot really, guess I must be tired from the torture of coughing for 3 weeks. This coming wed, would be the fourth. And oh yes, went to the GP again and got myself some re-prescribe medications. Doc says I've got pneumonia but i'll be fine. Infection's cleared so just to continue with some steriods meds and the usual packaged ones. Headache the whole of yesterday, but seems like its alright already. So, no worries for ppl whom are worried abt me. ;) Starting to take care of myself, better.

Frankly speaking, I'm missing my work ppl alr. Most of them are really sweet-lings.. Aww! But guess, i'll see the girls on Monday afternoon. ;D May the ward be peaceful!

There are still impt ppl whom I've not met. I'll try my best to work out my schedule kays, i promise. Bud, euZ, mj: Owe them a date, like since dont know when. Mel's 21st on the 21st feb & Val's 21st on the 6th feb. I'll try to make it a point to make an appearance so to meet up with some of the fav girls and boy of NR0629. Work really takes up lots of your time....

Anyways. Was supposed to be at Genting or KL this few days. But Baby is really having a hard time to get away from work. Yes, she is a workaholic. But like she have a choice. Ha! So to speak, we are caught to stay behind. Its alright. There'll be many opportunity. ;)

Had a long-planned meet up with the labs girls yesterday.

A catch up after the longest time. The last time was at Novena 'cos I got Night duty to cover. This time round, it's ashley's turn.

When we all met, we all started off attacking at linda's weakest point. ;) And it went on and on throughout the night.

I guess that make us all close.

Then, we started to rant all about the lousiest and most ridiculous things at work.

Then, reminiscing the past tgt when we were all students.

And, finally. We all agrees that Linda had gone old. ;P

Yes. Looking for laughter to cover up my stupidity, to take away my self inflicted pain for awhile.

I could still remember so clearly what were the contents. Maybe one day karma would happen like somebody once cursed. But, if it does happens, I guess it must be a "serve me right" thing.

And yes, recently somebody have been on a MIA mission after being sucked over to the "dark-side". Let's all pray that somebody could be waken up from that addictive poison soon. After all, we just want somebody to be leading the least self harmed manner kind of life.

Uhuh... A good day off today. Finally, after god-knows how many days of working days..

Went to the doctor already for the consult of my 1 week + cough. Haha.

In the end, the medical bill choke up to $61. (Now, I know why are docs earning)

The doc that saw me was quite frighten when he asked me abt my occupation. Haha. But thanks to my profession, I got some re-embirsement. Yay.

Been a good girl for 2 days.. And it sounds like the cough is much better.. Okay, except for those moments when I had pain over my diaphragm region with the effort of coughing.. But, for those whom are concern abt me. I'm much better. Thank you. ;)

Almost the end of Jan alr.. How time flies. Why so fast?..

A few things to look forward to this upcoming months.

1. 26 Jan: A meet up with linda. And hopefully ashley, sharon.

3. 6 Feb: Air Show with dar, ni-ke and I'm not sure who else.

4. 12 Feb: A nice date with dar for pre-vday cel.

5. 14 Feb + 15 days: Not forgetting CNY. All the steamboats, hongbaos, mj and gatherings

5. 17 Apr: S.H.E's concert in Sg. (Purchasing tickets soon)

Ah wells. I guess I've been quite stress up.

Getting tense up. Getting frustrated really easily. Nooo.. I'm not going thru menopausal. Ha. At least, I could still make a crap joke out of it. Not in depression after all.

Don't say I got no stress... 'Cos I have. Many things to think and worry about. Those stuff are draining me out. I just don't usually open up my bottle widely. With a weak body, I still got to keep myself functional at work. Fat hope to take mc. We are severely lack of staff.... So, I'm like an infectious bomb that my patients should be afraid of. But, I don't deny that I love my job.. In fact, alot. *Okay, except for some irritating 'bffs' and annoying patient and their relatives.....

I've been self medicating for abt a week now. No improvement but getting worst. So, right now... Plan B - I'm trying pi pa gao. Seriously, there's no point for me to go to the GP to get some cough syrups and all those all in one package medications.... Why? 'Cos they will cause drowsiness, and how to function at work if the meds are round the clock? Besides. Not that my workplace don't have them. Hmm.. next up Plan C would be herbal tea... Sad ar, C did not mention she would want to buy for me. Not her special one after all. Haha. Come to terms. Lols.

I got to take care of myself and love myself much much more. Seriously. And, I got to learn to phrase my words properly and carefully.

Not in a very good mood today. So, I guess. That's all.

Sighs. After all, I just need to keep strong.

Absolutely ♥ my Monday with dar.

Aww. But good times always end fast.

Watched Treasure Hunter today at Cine. Not as bad as we thought.

Except the Ms. Lin whom really need to pull up her socks. Not very impressive which she self proclaims it to be.

Concept of the story is okay..

Comedy ratings was kinda entertaining.

For $6 per person per ticket, I think its worthwhile. Not forgetting the freezing cold air condition that almost brain freeze both of us. c:

Travelled to Suntec City then. Got con to Cotton on, New Look. But I'm happy happy with my buys.. Loves all the pieces.. Hee..

Dinner was at my fav Skinny Pizza. We had the superb squid ink pizza. It is still as fab as before. Wohoo..

In short, the treats of the evening really brighten up my day from work.

With those hugs and kisses, care and concern, attention and affection.. My sunshine made my day.

Everyone is growing up.
Growing up means working-adults.
With Christmas 2009 round the corner. This year's holiday season is hardly felt.
Should I say a little disappointment is there? Sigh..

3.1, Dui Zhang would be at Germany. 2 sisters having wedding dinners to attend on eve and christmas itself. The rest, most likely with their partners. Nahs, I dont really fancy being a gigantic light bulb. Its hard.
Baby, most likely spending with her family. Already had such a thought, I guess.
Cousin, with her dome ppl and her customers. The inflexibilty of F&B.

So, 2009 Christmas. Most likely spending it alone. Spending it at work. Spending it with my patients. Ya, saddening. Hospital doesn't close. Wells.
(Who the hell says teacher and nurses are about the same.)

& did I mention? This year's Christmas lightings not so awesome at town. Kinda of 'recycle, reuse and reduce' message is within those decos.. The ones set up at Novena square/ Square 2 is so much nicer.

2009, many major changes in my life.
Is it too early to make those reflections to wrap up the year? Hmm.. Who cares, right?
2009:
- the year I graduated from Polytechnic.
- the year I got offered a Job from the hospital.
- the year I got confirmed from probation.
- the year I'm gonna turn 21.....
- the year 3.1 walk through difficulties with each other.
- Our 3rd year without wanting to celebrate.
- the year, I'm gonna get my government given bonus. ;)

Had it been a good year? I'm not certain. But.
I would like to take this opportunity to say a few things if anyone happen to see this.

I would like to apologize if I had raised my voice at you, if I lose my temper unnecessarily, if I did any silly things that made you angry, if I did stupid things which cause you to be upset. Terribly sorry. & I hope you could forgive me and accept a new me in the upcoming 2010.

I would like to give thanks if you had spend your time listening to me, showing me guidance, teaching me things which made me learn, accepting me for who I am, helping me out in my life in one way or another. Really... Thank you. Deep down in my heart, I appreciate.

In my heart, there are a few things which I've already thought through and over. I think, I see the change in me, at least for now.

Being away for a short holiday.

Bkk with Baby and Cousin.

It was a 4 day 3 night trip, Jetsaver package.

Had a great time shopping, bargaining even thou' seeing my $ flying away.

Had an awesome time travelling in those BTS.

And I'm missing my Ratchatewi station :p.

Had an awful time dragging our feet back to hotel almost every night.

Had the most painful experience of the Thai massage which I think left some of us with bruises here and there.

Had a horrible food poisoning experience.

I should have phobia for those sotongs for quite some time, I believe.

Had a hilarious time meeting Xiufen and Choon Seng over at Bkk. And meeting them twice.

Not forgetting the lovely sister whom send us to the airport and S and sis to pick us up from T1.

Had the best time snuggling and hugging my loved one.

Nevertheless. Spent Baby's quiet 28th. Blackforest cake at 12mn Sg's time. Singing Birthday song into her ear.

Life lately, pretty good i guess.
Work's fine. Still as busy as ever. Working as thou i'm a workaholic. Hmms. OT almost daily but no extra pay. No, i am not incompetent. But wells, ttsh is flooded with ppl admitting.
Yes, completed all my checklist including IVs. Like finally.
And guess what, i'm having the intention to study next yr. Got to really buck up to find out the info and details to get myself financially ready..
Decided to get a degree first for the time being then decide what's my next. Hope i dont change my mind. :x
I'm being fickled minded at times. Many things which i want to do. I hope age doesnt catch up too fast.

Time really flies. Its almost the end of Oct already. I smell bonus. Hope the govt treats us nurses well.

Just a few days ago. Had an impromptu gut to visit the newly open - toy museum. The pamphlet for this attraction seems rather interesting, colorful and make you die hard wanting to visit that place.

Its located at Seah street (bugis) fyi.. Entry tix about $15 per adult. But we (baby and i) had discounts.. P.S :Definitely not from those discount cards which i have in my wallet.

Overall was about $22.

Wells. After visiting. Its only a so so place in my opinion. Or perhaps I'm not so much of a die hard fan for toys.... Its seriously quite costly for that price and the amount of time i spent in there. But on the other hand, its an experience and an eye opener.

Some toys are really old, antique.... To the extent that I dont even know their existence.. *Laughs

Had an awesome arty time at esplanade's concert hall last night. Headed for Stomp with baby. They are amazing.... About 8 of them. Making our everyday thing a part of music. Things as such like newspaper, bins, bamboo poles, chairs etc.. They don't speak, they let their music do the talking and their body language do the acting. The approx 1 hour and 45min show was entertaining except for rude 'zouk-like' girl that block my view at certain time. Not that my seat isn't good. It was Fabulous. Facing the central of the stage. I would want go again! And did i not mention? Lots of ppl were there too. ;)

Alrights. I'll need to get to work soon.

wells.. It had been a while since i've upload a decent entry.
been busy or should i say overload?

was always tie down by work.
it had been 5 month plus. and of course working life isn't easy. (who says it was) but the lovely girls at 12a treat me fairly well. met a grp of them whom are fabulous. Thou' it had only been 5 months and counting, ward had been like the busiest time ever. I managed to slog through.
Packed my first patient of the yr who was the first known deceased for h1n1 in t**h.
Done my many LPs and bone marrow aspiration procedures. All those things which you don always see around, i got it. Ppl say even the pharmacist covering our ward, you are like a zhao cai mao.... =.="

On top of all those, I'll manage myself thru, wont we? ;) Cant wait to submit my checklist.. A few more signatures to go along.

was busy with the usual; meeting up with 3.1, coco bananas and of course my lovely sweetheart.
and then had an opportunity to meet up some of the girls during ash's 21st tea party: kinda of sweet....
went out with colleagues from 12a for some decent good meal and give nicole a pleasant birthday surprise... ;)

I've still got so much to do... So much to accomplish..
and you know what i'm having the sudden gush in completing or going into doing certain things...

Alrights.. Been kinda tied down recently. So many plans, too little time. But i do try hard enough to meet up with everyone. (Hopefully) Had dozens of photos which i realize i had not upload them, till tdy.. ;)

Photographs are that interesting 'cos it cld capture that very moment of joy, playfulness, fun, thoughts. Just a single piece of them speaks louder than 1000 of words.. Which is why I like taking ppl's pic.. :P

I shall mug hard in studying into those camera features. For self enriching purposes and also show it to my dad that I'm no weakling in other aspects of life.. This is when i'm feeling bored and trying really really hard to stay wide awake (during night duty)..

Things which I've cleared/acheived so far:

Watched ice age 3, obsessed and duplicity (the median's better)
Handling finance matters for the company
Attending wenz's convocation (congrats babe, you've came so far)
3 Months and 9 days yet still counting in my job (i aint new anymore, sadly)
Checklist's almost almost completed =.="

First, here's a little story:

"Middle children often are the forgotten children. This is especially true if the older sibling happens to be the same sex as the middle child. Then, to straight to the point... My story..

Had a tiff with my dad today. Its tiring to quarrel over the same thing over and over again. For those who knows me well, he love his daughter(s) to manage his company for him. & sadly, i guess both (or perhaps its only me) aint really keen in doing that. its actually just typing invoices. Sounds easy, some of you might say. But seriously, it isn't.

1. At his own time (i mean really any time round the clock).

2. Speaking aloud the information with you sitting right in front of the computer. (& he must do it this way)

3. Repeatedly assuming his way in doing things is correct.

4. Believing in his own belief that his child should help him in typing invoices no matter what the situation around is like.

5. Very very persistent. Not letting you have the chance to say no.

Actually, i very much didnt wish to publish this. But I really need to illustrate it out to properly make my emotions more balanced. I spoke to baby about this several times. She taught me initially to compromise & give in to make each other life better. Yes, and i listened and did it when i was schooling, having hols etc...

But right now. Times are different. I've started working for almost 3 months. Telling you that I've been used to the alternate shift work style is a total lie. Try a morn-afternoon day to day alternating shift. You just need strength to carry on. I really cant comply to have the energy in assisting. I need my sleep.

So scenario of the day today at 1130am while i was preparing for my afternoon shift. Showered, changed and prep for work. I have abt 1 hrs time to leave home for the hospital. A normal nurse would want to have her own time to slack, play, surf the net and eat lunch! He refused to grant me that. He came into the room & said, "baoxin, help me type a few invoices leh". & i answered, "nope, can i pls not do it." He stood there pretending not receiving my answer & ask persistently again. In the end, i could not NOT comply. Reluctantly went to his desk trying to help him. & he got angry and started to throw things near me after me telling him that i do not agree of his way in doing up the invoice. I swear my body language was fine. But probably it was my tone werent really friendly (that's my fault).

Subsequently, with the throwing and banging things, he scolds, lectures, shouted etc.... I cried. Yes, i did. The content were too much.

He compared again me with my sister.

He also said, "I'm your father. Even if i want your limbs tdy, you got to give them to me! Without asking that including your time."

He also love to say why is that I would always do ppl's things so promptly & without complaints but not his?

Those two particular contents which he said made me think & think. Of 'cos it turned me off. Pretty upset and off to work i go after that with teary eyes.

I'm tired from doing all this. He always le-le-la-la the same thing but gets harsher. Then, he would feel bad. But each time i still get affected.

So, tell me. Is this what a middle child should get?

Or maybe is it 'cos the situation & my family background is different?

Ashley, Sharon and Baox met up first while waiting for the forever taking the longest time to meet us up - Linda...

3 of us went for the tea time special at Secret Recipe. ;)

We rant abt work, abt their 'sisters', our preceptors, abt life...

And then when Ms Linda finally came from work, we headed for a place for dinner: Its 'Bali Thai' (Ashley, if you manage to see this. Haha.) And you know when u put 4 pathetic broke girls tgt to have dinner, its kinda of budget.. ;P

So... My conclusion. The next meet up shall be just right after payday!!! ;)))

Migrated to coffee bean then for some slacking time tgt. Cldnt stay any much longer as the clock ticks. Had night duty to accomplish.... But wells.. We took dozens of pictures!

So, tell me. Since when was the last time we had so much Laughter, Amusement, Bliss and Smiles...

I'd say the company was irreplaceable.

Earlier in my post, i mentioned i went to the Rasa sentosa Hotel with the lovely coco bananas!!! It was lots of fun even thou i had work early in the morn and only join them like in the evening. (But, u know.. I'm glad i did!)

It was a nice place in terms of the descriptive wise.

Service and waiting time, I guess they still need to improve.. *laughs

(The rest can tell u why..)

Nevertheless! The rest met up early and had some adventurous activities.

The pictures were so all nicely taken (Thanks to Tian!)...

Then after checking in the hotel at abt 3pm. The grp went for some swimming at the pool! Even cousin also wore swimming costume can! But she is so sporting lah..

Bet wilson wld laugh till his jaw drop! (Shhh!! Don tell cousin plss...)

Joined them at abt 5+.. Went for jacuzzi and playing time with them. The 'tadah~' sound effect esp... The laughters were priceless...

Buffets there were okay, not to bad.. Enjoy quite a number of dishes.. ;)

Then games!!!! Taboo and Beach volley ball..

Addicted to both...

And almost all of us had to work the following day when we checked out..

Imagine, Pris and I were texting each other and facebooking while at night shift.. ;P

This few days had been remarkably useful and awesome.

Meeting up with 3.1 and 2 monsters for MacD breakfast and outing to the Sengkang area swimming complex! It felt fruitful.. It seem like I hadnt done that with them for a long time.

Yes, due to pm shift...... Its not that i want to forsake them. I still love them, very very much!

As for the pics.. I heard it cant be uploaded in FB 'cos my girls all wore bikini.. Not that they are very conservative, but the fact that they're afraid to start a quarrel with their the other half.. ;/

Then, sunday. Went out with the lovely coco bananas. So nice of them to invite me for a 'mini holiday outing'.. Went to rasa sentosa hotel! So shiok.. Went there for jacuzzi, buffets, games, beach volley ball and slacking. It was fun!! Esp after many days of working, it felt like I took a break... Moreover, baby treated me.. ;) Don worry, I'm treating her really really nice too..

And as for the pics, its with Tian.. So, i'm really gonna wonder when wld i see the pics too! Haha.. Shall be patient and wait!

Its a great relaxing and pleasure weekend..

Time was passing too fast yesterday.

The time we had were too short.

I'm here to whine again.

Guess the best way is to talk to myself to feel less depressed and stressed.

It certainly does help.

Work Work and Work... Transitional Period isn't easy.

New ward, new discipline, new contacts, new atmosphere.

Things are so so tensed up.

Its a good ward. A class.. What you expect.

Doctor's are kind, so far.

Sister is lenient to give me good shift, so far.

Preceptor is experienced.

Colleagues are multi racial so to support Sg's multi racial culture.

Ward environment is adapting in progress.

Capacity of patients, well handled and manageable.

Gifts and praises from patients.. Its satisfactory and victory which i felt.

Work flow for AN and SN... I'm working on it.

Everyday, she's having a problem with her attitude. As thou pms-ing. Sucks!

L** on the other hand, misunderstood and rant all her unhappiness at me when I wasn't at fault. She was the one who was late and disappear to nowhere. Its not that i did not search for her.. I've got evidence and witness... So, she's sorry for her behavior. Forgiven. But don't this ppl think before they investigate the matter further? =.="

These two monkeys really pull my mood down.

I was seriously at my lowest point. And yes, I did cry to sleep again...

I wanted to ring either members of 3.1 to meet up. But i didn't. I guess the girls were busy with their life.

I wanted to ring linda. perhaps meet up with her. But she's busy with tuition and insurance at the moment. But thank god we spoke on the phone.

I wanted to ring baby. But i didn't.

I miss ryan and kyan. They make me feel cheerful to the maximum. Okay lah. Sometimes, a bit annoying.

I know I've got my weak points.

But, I'm not a weakling.

Either am I a crybaby.

(Too bad if you think that I am. That's 'cos you are not me and definitely understanding the plight I was in.)

Haha... And i think I've lost weight once again. LOA everyday.

At times, I'm even afraid that i can't make it to probation. Its this bad.

I'm trying my best to stay positive.

But negative thoughts just come running in and out my brain waves.

Right now, I'm caught in between my stress peak level.

In front of my loved ones, how could i breakthrough to tell them how bad it is at work.

Neither do i know how to explain to them how stress I am.

Sometimes, I just cry to sleep.

& then when I wakes up the next day, Its another day yet again.

That's how i motivate myself.

But, I'm overloaded.......

*Miss Rx badly too... Its a month to June soon.. He left us physically for so so long. Visiting him isn't enough.. But it felt close.

Could never forget how he looks like.

Phew.. Its another week, yet again.

Here's somewhere good that i illustrate my timeline...

Lets talk abt last week...

*Last week had an awesome long decent holiday! ;)

Manage to meet up baby and the coco banana clan excluding Pris and Wil after my work last Thursday. We had a great dinner at Bark's Cafe! The food were so yummy! Hee...

Had the best cheap ice cream and Jenga game.

Went for movie with them afterwards in that luxurious BMW... Watched X-men: Wolverine. Personally, I dont find it too nice. Super many loopholes. So, not recommendable.

***Not forgetting! My lovely Mac came into my arms that very day~ :)))))))))) YAY!

So wef date, i'm a apple girl~ :)

Love it simply!

Had toot-toot-train number of AM shift. Finally distress myself by sleeping in since last friday.

My sweet baby made me bfast! Chicken Patty Burger! Its so nice.. Could take another one without plead I swear! She's such a good and talented cook. Hee..

Met 3.1 too. The time spent with them is too much to illustrate. & kor's back to germany on sunday.. Hope he would be safe safe safe from swine flu...

Last weekend I had 2R's: time to rest and relax... The slacking time was so precious.. :)

And wef Last sunday, I'm the owner of another gadget! My Canon Powershot SX10~ Double YAY!!!

Credit to baby.. She bought me the camera, my new toy.... (Added cos she say y din i mention in here ;P)

Now, I'm so in love with my Mac, my Powershot SX10 and my Baby~

Its Triple bliss!

I'm telling you, She's the BEST! Muacks!

Life's revolving ard work, family, Baby and friends.

Kor's back from Germany for 2 weeks. Gonna fly off on Sunday. Kinda worried for him during this pandemic outbreak. Hope he take good care.

Work's good.. Ppl are nice and getting a hang of the workload somehow. Being assigned to paying class ward is a challenge for me.. And right now, i hope everything goes out even better for me! Brace on, i always tell myself..

Last Friday:

Met up with 3.1-1 with yans yans to have dinner at cp. Had yoshi which was so not the plan. Haha.. But ok la... Not too bad.. But pizza wld be better.. Still craving..

Last Saturday:

Arranged to meet up with 3.1 that day after work. Had chest tube course. 8.30-5pm. Met 3.1 at bugis. We had some steamboat which i thought was so-so only.. 3.1 + other half all attended.. ;) Kor's face very big.. Haha.. It was quite a challenge to stay alert that day.. Was fatigue and lethargic. Guess it was the long working hrs and physically ill..

Last Sunday:

Yay! Off day but i guess due to pyschological stress, i woke up at 5am that day thinking that i had to be ready for work... =.=" Joke of the day.. Haha..

However, had an appt with Nikki tgt with Baby. Suj supposed to tag along too.. But din come in the end.. Oh.. We were planning to conquer the Macritchie tree top walk. & We did! Did well indeed.. The view's beautiful. Took many pics of the nature reserve, ourselves..... But well, guess it'd take some time for me to have the pics.. *laughs

Apart from the walk, we went for hi tea aft a shower..... Zhou's kitchen! The dim sum were se-dap! :) hee.. Had some walk abt digestion aft the 2 hrs non stop eating!!! We went to the adidias warehouse! Everyone got something which they wanted.. ;) We were all so so bloated and full even aft that! Baby and I even skipped dinner....

Then, watched stars award tgt, with baby.. The company was great! But i thought the show was lousy thou... Disappointment i wld say...

Home at abt 1am that day... Superwoman hor.. Haha.. Still got work the following day.

Monday:

Baby's and cousin's off days... Good for them to slp in late. Poor me.. Working hard from 7-3pm. Met both of them at town aft tt thou.. We watch 'Taken'. I agreed with jun and hw that every scene is the climax.. I was holding so tightly to baby in the theatre.. *laughs... But there's a little loophole towards the end of the show thou.. Wonder if anyone thought so like i do.

Guess what we did aft the 3.40pm movie? We went to cycle at ECP. I must be out of my mind. Lols... Long standing and walking abt hrs, then cycling!!!! At the end of the day, i had jellyish legs... haha. But i had fun lah... It was quite relax in a way.. Not the physical part. ;P

Tuesday:

On course tdy.. Some trachy training... 8.30-5pm... Very soon, all this sitting down hrs wld be diminished... Orientation is ending in a couple of days. How time flies isnt it? Wells... Met Linda and Sharke at PS for dinner. We had it at Manhanttan Fish Market.. It was delicious! The food taste still lingers in my mind!!!

We walk ard, spent money at daiso aft dinner then again to starbucks cos partially-dead linda is having trouble with her heels and heavy acer.. Lols..

We talk and talk, then pics... Yay! Miss them..

Val cldnt make it cos of church meeting.

Wanted ron and ash to meet too. But the girls are on pm shift. So not fated.. :( And the poor girls are having a hard and stress time...

To ron and ashie: Girls, Pls do take good care! Pls Pls take ur break and not be a mighty woman whom goes without food the whole day.. Don force me to buy u girls cartons of biscuits for birthday presents ar! :P

Parted with Linda and Sharke at abt 10.15.. Met up with baby and cousin for their dinner.. Poor baby.. She only finishes work like 9+ 10... I can foresee MAY-schedule wld be so much worse for her.. (*I'll standby u, baby. +u!)

Wednesday:

Managed to have my own time tdy.. Work hrs as usual..

On trainings for PPE and emergency measures already taken place.

My ward might be a quarantine ward if there's any cases. So wish me luck. Gonna stay away from 3.1 and yans yans if so..

Sg's currently inthe yellow zine according to WHO...

Knocked out totally from 5-8pm. Cld had slept thruout most probably if werent called up by my bro to have dinner... Haha.. So shag aft work. Awake approx 17-20hrs a day...

Had some relaxation facial done aft that and then here blogging away... :)

And tmr's gonna be Thursday alr.. So fast! How time flies!!! Looking forward for my friday to sunday off days!! YAY! Cant wait for the program lined up tmr.. ;)

Approx 2 months of hol since nursing ended.

Received my transcript and cert.

On the 6th Apr 2009, i started work. And yes, I'll definitely be there till 6th Apr 2012. (*i mean i need to.) So, baox endure! Baox's mum says, "time will pass very fast"...

Well well well.. Not losing faith. I'm hanging in there. Hee.. Family and Baby have been supportive. Love her and them.

Many ppl asked me how's work and if i cld cope. Thanks to all for their concern.

So here it goes.

I'll be on 6 months probabtion wef 6Apr. During this 6 months, i'll be attending intensive crash courses for the headstart. Every timeslot is filled up, not a single time wasted.

Btw, my welcome gift to ttsh is none other than a thick ring file with notes!!!! *sobs

So for the first month, we'd be attending lectures, skills lab, frequent drop-ins to ward to familiarise. =.= Alot to learn, much to absorb, plenty of challenges to overcome.

Will i make it??? YES, I WILL & I WANT! ;) Wish me luck. :D

Till date, I'm still adjusting to the waking up early habit, long lectures, avoiding sleeping in class and refrain from calling myself "student". Lols. Cant seem to kick that habit.

Schedule's up for a month. PH off, permanent sundays off, half day for saturdays.. Basically these are the good news.

Thanks to iPhone for keeping me awake, I'd probably be dead if it werent my companion, seriously. Not forgetting them too.. Thanks to PL, Yadanar, Jena, Aishya, Liyana, Geetha and so many others for making my life nicer... My tea break/lunch/lecture kakis....

Anyways. Attended an inspiring talk tdy. Content: Depression in bad times. Great delivery from Dr Ang. And great slides. Reason why it was held? - Part of the orientation program. I guess they're just too afraid nurses wld face depression.

Hmm.. So, here's some interesting stuff to share.

According to Dr ***, "It's all in the mind." What we perceive cause our positive/negative emotions. He made many interesting examples. I put it in my own words thou.

Scenario - While making your way to work, you are involve in the traffic jam. Screwed! I've got appointments. Its impossible to be punctual... Damn! The usual reaction of many ppl is, anxious. Its natural. You just need to realter your thoughts. It's all in the mind~ So, you cld pick up the phone to attend urgent matters, informing that you'd be late. You'd feel good or much better after that..... :) Try it! It works.

Another thing.

Do things you enjoy, do it regularly with variety.

PLAY! Its crucial. Its the best antidote.

We need to have body play, object play and social play.. :)

Have a strong pre frontal cortex, limbus system, brain stem and cerebral cortex.

My day was lovely and perfect! It is exactly how i describe it. Had romantic time spending it with baby. We went for shopping spree!!! The retail therapy was amazing. ;) But i still miss that expensive puma belt... Its so pretty~ But i know i need to forgo it. Wells... Hmm..

We pampered ourselves at suntec's kushin-bo. Had that craving for long long time.

Not forgetting, gotten cheated by the purchases from the MJ cd shop. I'm so gonna boycott the entire MJ cd shops. Always had bad experience! Well~ Hope the kids cd that we bought for ryan and kyan is bearable. We shall it out tmr....

I realise its been quite away since I had blog. Really blog.

Well. So, I shall be a good girl today and have my diary filled.

Baby had been on AL since Wed.

So are, Cousin, Pris & Celynn.

Been meeting up with them lately.

They had been great company.

On the 10th of March: I bought an iphone. *Yipee.

Headed to JB for lok lok like past mn. The food were delicious. Car rides was bad thou.

And on the very next day, I just couldnt wait. Pris was so nice to help me *ail*reak it. I still owe her a big meal thou.. (All thanks to those influence: we're the iphone clan now.)

12 March: Had Steamboat at Tian & Celynn's place. Played Taboo till 3am. Stayed over with Pris, cousin, Wilson and baby. :)

We Slacked at their place till 2pm the next day and headed to the IT fair. Bought myself a portable hard drive. Good offer, couldnt resist it.

Went to meet my girls and the yans yans at night.

14 March: Meet baby and cousin to JB at am timing for bak kut teh. So-so only. Then headed hm for a nap. We met up again at night for dinner. Yuki Yaki at MS for buffet BBQ and steamboat.. YUMMY!!! Waiting to go to Kushin-bo soon!

15 March: Zoo with my girls and my yans yans in the morning. FOC entry. Great sight and took many pics. ;) Ryan was like so endu. Kyan was like a princess, refuse to walk by her own.

Then. 2nd half , met up the coco bananas for the disney on ice show. The ticket cost us abt $20 each. Certain parts were awesome. Motive was to bring the kids there to enjoy themselves.

Then headed home. Quite a tiring day.

It had been a busy week.

And yes, 16 March which is tommorow, i'll be at a wedding dinner.

Oh dear.. Busy everyday!!

And btw, i'm one step closer to my wishlist. Next target wld be a mac... :)

13th-14th of FEB~

Had a short trip to Batam with Baby.

Its a getaway for Valentine's day.

Sounded sweet huh?

Like duh! I was the one who planned it... *winks

Its our first time to Batam and both our first going there together.

It was quite a memorable vdae..

Our first day at Batam:

Had a ferry ride via the sea raider.

Reached Batam at about 9.20am BT.

Then had the hotel personnels to pick us up at the terminal.

Had the check in arrangements all done.

Basically, we were on our own the first day there.

Off we went to our rooms excitedly.. =)

It wasnt disappointing.

The hotel is designed in resort-style.

They even had balcony.

The room were furnished with dim lights.

Moreover, it was facing the seaview of Batam!

*GOSH!

Very cozy.Very romantic.

Our purpose was to relax, slack and enjoy this trip.

And we did.

We just slept throughout the whole morning. *Proud

Woke up only when i'm feeling hungry...

Lunch was cheap and edible. S$7.70 for 2 of us...

But not well handled somehow.

Baby found a worm in her 'soup mie' (beehoon soup).

After our light lunch, off we went to enjoy our SPA!

Wohoo!

We had a 'seaview massage'!

Total of 90min spa inclusive of 'Salt foot scrub', 'Hydro-spa bath' and a 60min 'full bod massage'... and a free ginger tea too!

It was AWESOME, SHIOK and PEFERCT.

Note: My sis says both baby and i really know how to enjoy life.

We had a little stroll by the resort.

Back to sleep again after the massage.

Had a beautiful view of the sunset.

Did some photos taking.

Had our dinner at about 7.30pm BT.

The sky over there look as thou' it was midnight.

But we still enjoy our romantic imaginary candlelight dinner.

The 2 of us: We ordered a 'Sweet Sour Chicken', Tom Yum Soup', 'Kangkong Belacan' and a 'Oats Prawn'.

All costs abt S$20++...

Very fulfilling dinner.

Then tv and sleeping time.

Not forgetting to praise the resort we were at. They actually had Singtel services. =)

Day two at Batam

Gotta wake up slightly earlier that day, 'cos we had a tour guide to bring us ard Batam.

Had buffet breakfast and set off at abt 11am BT.

We were brought ard Batam, from temples to handicrafts store to dried supplies market....

Of which, one of the places that both of us adore was the Polo Ralph Store.

Baby and i bought quite a number. =D

Then, Seafood feast for lunch!

Delicious really...

Last stop before our ferry trip back to SG, baby and i opt to go for another additional round of massage! Cost abt S$20-30 per person. We had a 90min course of full body massage with aroma therapy.... =))

On our way back, we headed for the upper outdoor deck of the ferry.

We had a splendid view of the landscape and sea....

The heart to heart talks, stars gazing, romance events.

Those moments were carved deep in my mind.

I felt like a princess.

My 09 valentine's day was;

Spent with the love of my life.

Relaxing in a way.

Romantic in a way.

A little down in a way. *dont ask me why.

But well, who cares..

Now, i'm missing the spa and the polo shop already. *oops =P
